- Step 1: Start by placing the softened cream cheese into a large mixing bowl. Add the sour cream to the bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat the two together on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Step 2: Once well combined, add the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir it in gently with a spatula or wooden spoon until fully incorporated.
- Step 3: Next, add the diced jalapeños to the mixture. Mix everything until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
- Step 4: Add garlic powder, onion powder, lime juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined.
