- Step 1: Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
- Step 3: Season the ribs generously with the spice mixture.
- Step 4: Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down.
- Step 5: Add wood chips to the smoker as per instructions.
- Step 6: Smoke the ribs for 5 to 6 hours, checking the internal temperature aiming for 195°F (90°C).
- Step 7: Baste the ribs with beef broth every hour.
- Step 8: Once done, let the ribs rest for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
