- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, anchovy fillets (if using), Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and egg yolk. Whisk until well blended and smooth.
- Step 2: Gradually incorporate the mayonnaise into the mixture, whisking continuously until the dressing is creamy and smooth.
- Step 3: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully incorporated.
- Step 4: Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If a thinner consistency is desired, drizzle in some olive oil while whisking.
- Step 5: Serve immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
Notes
For a vegan dressing, substitute the mayonnaise with vegan mayo or cashew cream, and omit the anchovies.
