- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of sour cream and 1/4 cup of prepared horseradish. Use a spoon or spatula to mix these two ingredients together until they are thoroughly combined.
- Step 2: Peel and grate one medium apple. Once grated, add the apple to the sour cream and horseradish mixture.
- Step 3: Pour in 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of honey. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 4: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the sauce to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more horseradish or even a dash of hot sauce. Letting the sauce sit overnight in the refrigerator can enhance the flavors even more.
